Guadalupe Corona is a speaker and trainer for Jones & Associates Consulting, Inc. Her M.A. degree is in
Leadership Studies and her thesis topic was Soulful Chicana Voices in Leadership.
Guadalupe is currently in a doctorate program in Leadership Studies. She serves as
the Assistant Director of Student Activities, and Director of the United Front Multicultural
Center at the University of San Diego. As the first Chicana to serve two terms in the
Associated Students Government at SDSU as Vice-President and Vice President of Finance,
she operated a $6.5 million non-profit auxiliary ran by students for students.
Guadalupe has a history of activism in the Latina/o community by organizing, volunteering and
developing programs to empower the community to seek self-determination. She is actively
involved with the Centro Cultural de la Raza where she is a former president of the Board
of Directors. She is the Chairwoman of the Latina Latino & Indigenous Peoples Unity
Coalition and a member for the Mayor of San Diego Latino Advisory Board.
Guadalupe also serves as the Chair of the National Latino Caucus for the Annual National Conference on Race
and Ethnicity
